Since 2000 the Company has co-operated with the Altai State Technical University (ASTU) and the Kuzbass State Technical University (KSTU) to train specialists in the following fields:

- chemical production machinery and equipment;
- process chemistry of natural energy sources and carbon materials.

In 2010 11 people graduated, 10 of them have been commissioned by the plant to take courses in the Process chemistry of natural energy sources and carbon materials and Chemical production machinery and equipment at KSTU. 

The Company’s HR policy is based on creating career development opportunities for its employees. Altai-Koks has been successfully implementing a personnel training program comprising two major aspects: blue collar training and white collar qualification upgrades.
Students of Vocational School No. 41 (Zarinsk), as well as students of universities and colleges in the Altai Territory annually  go though internships at the various divisions of the Company. 115 students from Vocational School No. 41 and 38 students from other universities and colleges had such training in 2010.

In 2009 Altai-Koks obtained License No. À 332290 (valid for 5 years), which entitles it to conduct training for 125 blue-collar jobs including 54 occupations controlled by the Federal Agency for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostechnadzor).
