In 2004 a workplace certification was carried out at OJSC Altai-Koks in accordance with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Based on the certification results the Company has issued a Job Safety Certificate.

It is the second certification at OJSC Altai-Koks which was highly appreciated by the Labor Committee of  Altaisky Krai Administration.
The Certificate confirms that job safety at OJSC Altai-Koks complies with the established state standards for job safety.

Altai-Koks’ job and industrial safety practices set a model for the industry. Managers of many leading enterprises of the Altaisky Krai and Siberian region visited the Company to exchange experience. The Company’s job safety system is based on the following main principles:

- high priority of employees’ lives and health protection at  work;
- assessing of workplaces with subsequent certification of work safety;
-monitoring of working conditions and proper use of personal and collective means of protection by the employees;
- prevention of injuries, occupational diseases and accidents at work;
- provision of employees with high-quality and advanced means of individual and collective protection, medicated  products;
- organizing mandatory preliminary, periodical and thorough medical check-ups (examinations), mandatory mental examinations;
- informing employees on working conditions and safety at work, on injury risks and compensations and binding means of individual protection;
- sanitary, household, medical and preventive services in compliance with work safety requirements;
- compulsory social insurance of employees against accidents at workplaces and occupational diseases;
- informing employees about job safety requirements;
- developing of employees’ job safety instructions with the involvement of the elected shop-floor union organization or other body authorized by the employees;
- availability of a package of regulations containing job safety requirements in line with the Company’s specific activities.
