OJSC Altai-Koks is the largest coke plant in Russia, its products amounting to about 10.9% of all-Russia coke output in 2008. Five coke-oven batteries produce main products. Commissioning of coke-oven battery 5 has enabled the Company to produce five million tons of coke per annum with 6% moisture content, including 80 mm cupola coal coke. This product is in high demand in the market and is used to produce high-tech heat-insulating materials.
